Located a few meters from the Mediterranean Sea lies Villa La Prora, a  term that derives from the definition if boat prow.

The Villa is on two levels with a spectacular view of Mount Etna and below Isola Bella; It is located in a context with important landscape and environmental value.

The various architectural elements mesh into new relational systems; the interior and exterior merge allowing the house to integrate perfectly into the landscape.
By relying on an architecture made of rigorous volumes and minimalist and linear geometric shapes, order has been re-established in the distribution of domestic spaces and accessory areas, that had been lost over time due to previous renovations.

The vastly compromised state of the original building stimulated the implementation of a series of interventions aimed at completely redefining the Villa’s appearance.

The spaces are strictly connected in sequence to allow exploration and gradual discovery of the interior.

The synergy with the property has allowed to implement measures in which functionality, formal rigor, homogeneity of materials and colours are characterizing features.

Natural materials conceptually unite the realization of the interior and exterior of the Villa.

The lush Southern Mediterranean vegetation envelops the house which rests on a terrace created in the steep slope which plunges directly into the sea.
