Torre Uglione interiors

Medieval walls and rooms kissed by an intense brightness, a rare combination that impressed the owners, a dynamic couple with a high creativity level, deeply involved with the international world of fashion.
They desired a home far from the cliché of the classic Tuscan farmhouse.

Once the structure and the facades were restored, the interiors were completely remodelled. Tradition is felt as a charismatic but not overwhelming presence, blended smartly with a contemporary taste

The owner’s request was for maximum freshness, as a clear transgression of the “usual Tuscan style”; white walls, selected pieces of design and craftsmanship, local –“chilometro zero” materials and personalized ethnic touches.

The result is a harmonious and light reworking of the “Tuscan country style”, ideal for a holiday retreat and open to welcoming guests. The central theme is in fact conviviality; the spaces are conceived as elegant but cozy, aimed at facilitating social relationships and sharing of experiences.
A challenge won thanks to a partnership with local master artisans and their skilled savoir-faire, capable of repairing the inevitable damages brought by time. Master artisans able to show their strengths in professions that have been shrinking for generations and in techniques that would otherwise be destined to disappear, in an rightful homage to the past.
